Abby Devries MD

Dr. Abigail DeVries is a family physician and healthcare executive who is passionate about health equity and making care available and affordable to all. She recently joined the healthcare startup, Cityblock, as market medical director for North Carolina, after over a decade at a multisite FQHC that also operated a PACE program. As an FQHC CMO, Dr. DeVries served on multiple boards, including a hospital system clinically-integrated network and a physician-led medicaid managed care organization. She also served as the medical director for an FQHC-only Medicare ACO. Prior to joining Cityblock, she worked with NC Medicaid as an associate medical director. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed her residency at Brown.
