Joe Acosta is the Chief Technology Officer at the Kentucky Primary Care Association. Joe has over 20 years of experience in IT, with the majority of it in the health care sector. Acosta has supported the safety net in California and now Kentucky since 2003. Joe has worked in several FQHC agencies as a Health IT lead and as a COO. He worked for the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County as the Director of Health IT, where he led many Federally funded projects on behalf of the membership. Joe also has experience working for managed care organization, working for L.A. Care Health Plan as a part of their Health IT and Quality division. Joe is dedicated to supporting the health and welfare of his community by improving access to technology enhanced quality care for all.
