Shelkecia Lessington

Shelkecia Lessington provides coordination and training to support the work of PRAPARE. Prior to joining NACHC, Shelkecia worked as a Community Health Education Specialist at the University of Texas Health Science Center. She coordinated the planning and development of specialized educational and training programs for patients at community health and wellness centers in the Houston area. Shelkecia has also assisted with clinical and qualitative research initiatives within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. She received her BS in Biology from the University of South Carolina and her MPH from The George Washington University.
