Russell Brown

Deputy Director, CDC Portfolio, NACHC

Russell Brown is a public health professional with over five years of experience in grants administration and project management. As NACHC's Deputy Director, CDC Portfolio, he oversees day-to-day project management operations for 10+ CDC-funded projects within the Clinical Affairs Division. He coordinates the development of requests for proposals (RFPs), scopes of work (SOWs), and federal reporting requirements. Additionally, he works on projects related to LGBT Health and Hepatitis. Previously, Russell managed a Ryan White-funded HIV testing and case management program within a community health center in Boston. He graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Philosophy, and Pre-Medical Studies, and is also a graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College, the rigorous honors program at UMass.
