Manny Lopes is a transformational leader in the community health care movement. Born and raised in East Boston, Manny’s commitment to community health began at the age of 18, when he joined EBNHC as a field researcher. His roles at EBNHC went on to include IT, human resources, and operations. After a mid-career stint outside the health center, during which he worked as a business consultant for Fortune 1,000 companies helping CEOs, CIOs, and CFOs redesign critical business processes, Manny rejoined EBNHC in 2004 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In 2012, Manny was named CEO by the EBNHC Board of Directors and in 2015 became president.
