Pooja Verma MPH, ASQ-CQIA

In her current role at NACCHO, Pooja provides technical assistance to health departments on topics ranging from agency strategic planning and community health assessment and improvement planning, quality improvement, performance measurement, adaptive leadership. Prior to this she worked at a community-based organization integrating a physical activity and nutrition curriculum in childcare centers across North Carolina. Pooja has experience at the Guilford County Health Department where she supported the community’s Healthy Carolinians coalition, a community-based network of agencies and residents dedicated to improving community health. Pooja has over 11 years of experience in local public health. She holds a B.S. in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
