Vernetta Walker, president and CEO of Walker & Associates Consulting, has over two decades of experience as a nonprofit leader and consultant. In addition to providing consulting and training, she is a frequent speaker on nonprofit practices, creating an inclusive culture, and board advocacy. Vernetta is also a senior governance consultant for BoardSource and an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University. She has served on many boards and is currently chair of the March for our Lives Foundation. She is author of the forthcoming Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Action Guide. Vernetta has a JD (Washington University) and BA (University of Maryland).
