Description
340B Program Resources
The 340B Drug Pricing Program is an essential source of support for Community Health Centers, allowing them to stretch increasingly scarce federal resources and reinvest in patient care. The program allows health centers to purchase outpatient drugs at significantly reduced costs. Health centers pass the savings on to their patients through reduced drug prices, and use any additional savings in support of their mission to expand access and improve health outcomes among medically underserved populations.
COVID-19 Resource Hub For Community Health Centers
NACHC’s novel coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) resource page is a hub for information Community Health Centers can use to strengthen readiness efforts and educate their communities.
Health Center Resource Clearinghouse
HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) has charged the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) with establishing a National Resource Center (NRC) and creating an online resource repository to meet the information needs of professionals for the purpose of building stronger and healthier communities. The Health Center Resource Clearinghouse addresses the demands placed on a busy public health workforce by providing resources and tools to acquire and use targeted information on a daily basis.
Health Center Year of the Nurse 2020
Each week in 2020, NACHC will highlight individual nurses, groups of nurses or specific nursing roles in health centers and their contributions to health centers and their communities, and will create a compendium of at least 52 distinct nursing stories over 12 monthly themes. Nominate a nurse or share a story.

PRAPARE
The Protocol for Responding to and Assessing Patients’ Assets, Risks, and Experiences (PRAPARE) is a national effort to help health centers and other providers collect the data needed to better understand and act on their patients’ social determinants of health. As providers are increasingly held accountable for reaching population health goals while reducing costs, it is important that they have tools and strategies to identify the upstream socioeconomic drivers of poor outcomes and higher costs.
Take Action Now
We are facing another public health emergency and Community Health Centers are again on the front lines to implement preventive and protective practices. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to change the way we are thinking about contacting our members of Congress. If your health center has not yet had to make the shift to emergency procedures, we need you to stand in for our health center community.
Training and Technical Assistance
NACHC’s training program strives to empower adult learners with strategies and best practices to address challenges facing today’s health centers. Regional training workshops are offered nationally, throughout the year. Online learning events and other educational resources are provided on an ongoing basis.
