All attention is on the states for activity and innovation in the health policy arena! On issues ranging from coverage to payment, states have become the preferred venue for policymakers to leverage their authority to achieve numerous health policy goals. In this session, the audience will hear about specific state level approaches that aim to help health centers navigate both challenges and opportunities affecting their ability to serve patients. The presenters will address important state level developments that impact health centers in the areas of Medicaid and Marketplace waivers, Medicaid GME and the 340B Drug Discount Program.
