Are you training your workforce well enough so they can leave, but treating them well enough so they don't want to? Establishing training partnerships with colleges and universities can be an effective approach to achieve this objective and improve the work life of those who deliver care - a key component of the Quadruple Aim. How have some primary care associations (PCAs) developed partnerships with academia and what has been the results? What lessons have they learned that may benefit you in determining whether to pursue such partnerships for the operational workforce and executive leaders? During this two-part webinar series, we will highlight case studies and interview PCAs and their college/university partners to deep dive into the work of advancing and retaining the health center workforce through training partnerships. Part 1 will explore partnerships designed to develop executive leaders; part 2 will explore partnerships designed to advance the operational workforce.
