Board Chair Series: Building a High-Performing Board (Webinar)

Board Chair Series: Building a High-Performing Board (Webinar)

Description

This webinar series provides board chairs information and insight about leading the board of directors in their oversight and support responsibilities. Each webinar looks at a dimension of board chair responsibilities and highlights practices for improvement – improving their own performance, the performance of the full board, and ultimately the performance of the health center in achieving its mission in the community, which is the passion of all board members.

The second webinar in the series will highlight characteristics of a high-performing board and look at the role of the board chair in working with other board members and staff to recruit new members who are committed to the mission, who bring expertise in key areas, and who represent diverse points of view. The webinar will touch on board member recruitment, orientation, and engagement.
