This webinar will explore innovative approaches to reduce such inefficient emergency department utilization through collaborations that link individuals from the hospital to community health centers. The presenters will review key legal issues, including the federal law known as “EMTALA,” and discuss operational and financial challenges and benefits arising from the implementation of such care coordination collaborations.
