ACO Academy: Legal Considerations and Risk (Webinar)

Description

This webinar will identify the legal issues likely to be encountered in forming or participating in an ACO. It will describe the eligibility and certification requirements for the various programs based on the population being served: Medicaid, Medicare (Medicare Shared Savings Program), etc. We will also explain the antitrust safety zones that permit negotiating managed care contracts and review the key provisions found in participation agreements. In addition, understanding what defines "risk," especially upside versus downside and what to look for in various ACO contracts.
