Dr. Wanda Montalvo is Senior Fellow, Public Health Integration and Innovation at the National Association of Community Health Centers. Dr. Montalvo’s work focuses on peer learning, health disparities, health equity, and transforming new models of care. She is an avid public health advocate with a successful track record of engaging diverse stakeholders from academia, philanthropy, federal agencies, and community-based organizations. Her national work includes the Heath Resources and Services Administration-funded National Health Disparities Collaborative as Northeast Cluster Director which enabled her work with multiple Primary Care Associations and hundreds of Community Health Centers. Dr. Montalvo’s recent work includes serving on the Development Committee for the American Academy of Nursing, Reckoning with Racism in Nursing, and The Nurse Antigone Working Group.
