Virginia “Ginger” Fuata is employed by the Lili'uokalani Trust, which dedicates itself to educating and working towards systemic change for the well-being of children in Hawaii. The Trust focuses on building pathways to thriving lives and “Thriving Hawaiian Children.” They engage individuals and families in purposeful discussion, identifying strengths upon which to build capacity. As an organization, they believe in community empowerment and the ability of people to improve the quality of their lives and the communities in which they live. Ginger has served on the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center board for more than 20 years.
