Tory Starr MSN, PHN, RN

Tory Starr is the President / CEO for Open Door Community Health Centers. (ODCHC). Open Door serves a large two county area on the north coast of California providing high quality, patient centered primary care to a diverse population for 52 years. ODCHC is the largest provider of primary care and obstetrical services for more than 62,000 patients in a predominantly rural setting. He has been involved in performance/ quality improvement for three decades in both community health and acute care settings. His professional focus has been on organizational development and change management as his organizations have navigated the turbulent waters of health care transition. Tory is a board member of the California Primary Care Association and California Alliance of Community Health Centers for Patient Access. He is a board member for Advocates for Community Health, a national FQHC advocacy organization. He serves on the advisory boards for Cal Poly Humboldt and College of the Redwoods.
