Sunny Chavan MD, MPH, FAAFP

Sunny Chavan, MD, MPH,FAAFP received his bachelor degree in medicine from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, India. Post-graduation, he worked as a Medical officer and subsequently moved to United States to pursue a Masters’ in Public Health from Texas A& M University. He completed his family medicine residency from Doctors Hospital of Michigan, Pontiac, MI. He is currently working as a lead physician at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center’s Vicente’s site, Brockton, MA. He received KRAFT practitioner program grant in 2015, which was focused on the development of community health leaders. He used grant funding for developing an integrated primary care rotation for VA Harvard Psychiatry residency program at BNHC .He would like to continue his work as community health leader and as a patient advocate.
