Sonia Deal RN, MSN/MHA, LNHA, CHCEF, PCMH CCE

Sonia Deal is the Assistant VP of Clinical Integration at Affinia Healthcare, a federally qualified health center in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a Registered Nurse with 22+ years of experience. She graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1999 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, and 2007 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in Healthcare and Nursing Administration. Sonia has a lifelong passion for working with disadvantaged communities. She develops programs and partnerships to provide resources and education to communities in need. She believes in the power of innovation! Sonia has been the recipient of several awards for her work in the community, including “Citi Salutes” 2014 Best Social Venture finalist, 2015 St. Louis Business Journal’s Catapult Competition semifinalist, 2016 BALSA grant finalist, and 2017 ESLI finalist. In 2017, Sonia received the Salute to Young Leaders award with the St. Louis American Foundation.
