Seth Turner oversees CMF's efforts to improve engagement between citizens and Congress. Since coming to CMF in 2016, he has directed its advocacy training initiatives, including its Partnership for a More Perfect Union, which provides participating advocacy organizations with resources, tools, and training programs to promote and inform meaningful civic engagement between their citizen-supporters and their congressional offices.
From 1994 through 2016, Seth served in national nonprofit organizations as a public policy and advocacy professional. Most recently, Seth was Goodwill Industries International's Senior Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy. In this role, he led Goodwill's efforts to build its capacity to influence public policy at the local, state, and federal levels.
Prior to his eight-year tenure at Goodwill, Seth advocated for other nonprofit networks including the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), the National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC), and Catholic Charities USA.
