Sara Benedetto RN, BSN

Sara Benedetto, BSN, RN and Chief Operations Officer for Center for Family Health, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Michigan. After a few years working on the inpatient side in maternal/child health she followed her passion to work in the community setting focusing on prevention and working with under-resourced populations. Ms. Benedetto joined the Center for Family Health in Jackson, MI in 1992. During her tenure at the Center she has held several positions including direct patient care, home visiting nurse and progressive leadership roles. She currently oversees clinical operations including medical, dental, and behavioral health as well as the pharmacy, facilities and the school health center program. Ms. Benedetto was instrumental in setting up the organization’s school health centers and has overseen them since their first site opened in 2005
