Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Health, Policy and Planning, Veterans Health Administration

Regan Crump was appointed ADUSH for Policy and Planning in 2016. In this role, he is the principal adviser to the Under Secretary for Health on the development, implementation, and impact of Veterans Health Administration (VHA) policy, system analyses, and strategic planning. He is responsible for the VA Enrollee Health Care Projection Model, an actuarial model used to project the health care service demand for +8 million Veterans enrolled in the VA health care system. Regan oversees the VHA Office of Rural Health which manages a $250 million congressional appropriation to improve care for Veterans in rural areas.
