Rachel Sacks, President of Leading Healthy Futures, has over 15 years of experience in the public health and nonprofit sector. She supports health nonprofits by helping them conceptualize and win new grants, identify and meet community needs, and gain greater strategic clarity through effective and fun facilitations. Rachel and her team work closely with community health centers, having helped them win New Access Point awards, Look-Alike initial designation, and over $30 million in grant funding. Her needs assessment work regularly garners high praise from HRSA site reviewers, and she has co-authored several NACHC resources.
Rachel’s prior experience includes time at the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Chicago Department of Public Health, and the Center for Jewish Genetics. She graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Science in Human Culture, and holds a Master of Public Health from UIC.
