Paula Campbell currently works for the Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA), as the Director of Health Equity + Emergency Response. During this time, she has built a robust network with state leaders in Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace, as well as the Illinois Department of Public Health. She also oversees the PCA’s National Peer Learning team that focuses on outreach, enrollment, and other enabling services. Additionally, she coordinates and hosts monthly calls for the Illinois Coalition for Health Access (ICHA) bringing those working with public benefits and health care together to learn best practices, discuss barriers, develop tools, and learn from each other. Fall of 2023 Paula was appointed to the two-year term on the CMS Advisory Panel on Outreach and Education. On January 19, 2024 Paula was appointed for a two-year term as a member of the Illinois Health Benefits Exchange Advisory Committee.
Prior to coming to IPHCA, Paula worked for 16 years in a rural local health department as Public Health Prevention and Community Education Coordinator.
