Nick Widmyer

Nick began his education as a student at the College of William and Mary followed by Georgetown University where he was awarded a full merit scholarship. Nick started his career as an English teacher in Chile, and is fluent in Spanish. After traveling back to the U.S. from Chile, Nicholas landed in DC where he worked as a Hispanic Media Intern at the Office of Senator Harry Reid. He went on to work on health and immigration policy for Senator Tim Kaine, then went over to the House of Representatives to be a Senior Policy Advisor in Rep. Abigail Spanberger’s office. Nicholas’ passion for community health centers originated from his visits to health centers across Virginia, where he saw firsthand NACHC members’ commitment to their mission of providing accessible, high-quality care to all members of the community.
