NANCY R. ZWEIBEL, Ph.D.
Dr. Zweibel is Senior Program Officer with The Retirement Research Foundation, dedicated to improving quality of life for older adults. She oversees a portfolio of research and advocacy grants while directing the Foundation’s evaluation efforts. Nancy received her Ph.D. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago in 1986, after which she joined the faculty in the University’s Department of Medicine doing research on the care of older adults at the end of life. She then spent a decade consulting with nonprofits that serve older adults before joining the Foundation. Her grant portfolio focuses on social policy issues related to care for the frailest elderly including end-of-life, managing multiple chronic conditions, home-based primary care, supportive and affordable housing, caregiving, etc.
