Molly Prothero JD

Molly Prothero (she/her) is a Skadden Fellow/Staff Attorney at Bread for the City, a multi-service non-profit in Washington, DC. Since starting in this role she has created a medical-legal partnership with Bread for the City's medical clinic. She acts as the legal point person for the medical team and represents medical patients in public benefits and housing matters. She also builds coalitions across social and legal services organizations in order to advocate for systemic solutions around public benefits in DC. Molly served as Executive Director of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, a student-run civil legal aid organization, and Strategic Partnerships Director of Harvard Defenders while earning her J.D. at Harvard Law School. She aims to work in partnership with organizers and community members and dreams of a world with an equitable distribution of resources such as housing, healthcare, and environmental safety.
