Molly McGown MPH, MA

Manager, Evaluation, Access Community Health Network

Ms. McGown is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer whose entry into community health research and evaluation began with work on an intervention to retain children ages 1-5 in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. She conducted additional research on community health nutrition with resettled refugees, followed by ethnographic field work on the implementation of CenteringPregnancy at sites in East Africa. In Chicago she worked in Northwestern University's Institute of Public Health and Medicine and the Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago before moving to Access Community Health Network where she manages a diverse evaluation portfolio. A health justice advocate, she is committed to addressing social determinants of health and improving the quality of services for historically marginalized individuals and populations.
