Misty Lewis currently operates in a dual capacity serving as External Affairs Director for HealthNet Inc. (A Federally Qualified Health Center) and Director of the HealthNet Foundation, a 501(C)(3) Public Charity. The HealthNet Foundation was established in 2018 to help raise funding to support programs and services of HealthNet Inc. Before joining HealthNet, Misty worked for the City of Indianapolis – Office of Minority & Women Business Development as a Project Manager (PM) and Public Information Officer. Misty obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Indiana University and her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Misty holds a certification in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Misty currently serves as a member of the Project Management Institution, Council on Foundations, and the Metropolitan Indianapolis-Central Indiana Area Health Education Center Advisory Committee.
