Clinician Surveyor, The Joint Commission

Dr. Lynette Mundey has served as a Joint Commission Clinician Surveyor since 1998 and is an adjunct faculty member at Howard University College of Medicine. She is trained under the Accreditation Manual for Ambulatory Care and also conducts Patient-Centered Medical Home certification evaluations in a variety of ambulatory care settings. Previously, Dr. Mundey was Director of the Student Health Center at Howard University; Bureau Chief, Neighborhood Health Centers at D.C. Government Commission on Public Health; Medical Director of the Baltimore Region, Maryland State Department of Corrections; and Vice President for Health at National Capitol Systems, Inc. She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her postgraduate training in Family Medicine and Community Health at Howard University Hospital.
