Lisa James MA

Lisa James is Director of Health at Futures Without Violence. As part of a national health initiative on domestic violence, she has collaborated with health care providers, domestic violence experts, and health policy makers in over 25 states to develop statewide health care responses to domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking through training, health policy reform, and public education. Lisa collaborates with national medical and nursing associations to enact health policy and programmatic health care responses to abuse, and received the AMA’s Citation for Distinguished Service for her efforts to train health care providers on violence and abuse.
