A recognized expert on federal vaccine policy, Lisa serves as a manager of the Adult Vaccine Access Coalition
(AVAC), representing 70+ organizational members. AVAC was formed in 2015 to advocate for federal policies that improve access to and increase utilization of vaccines among adults. Near universal access to immunizations for children has been one of the greatest public health accomplishments of the 20th century. AVAC seeks to achieve the same level of success when it comes to immunizations among adults. As manager, Lisa works closely with coalition members and utilizes her analytical skills and policy experience to generate legislative and regulatory products on behalf of the coalition as well as engaging in direct federal advocacy work.
Lisa is also currently a partner at NVG, LLC, where she works with a number of the firm's health care clients. Prior to joining NVG, Lisa was a staff member in the U.S. Senate for over a decade, where she served as the senior health policy advisor to Senator Jack Reed (D-RI).
