Leslie Wolcott MA

Leslie Wolcott was the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) Communications Coordinator from 2016-2022. She was responsible for external and internal communications, including media relations, the website and social media accounts, newsletters, and emergency preparedness and response. Leslie launched a podcast for NCCHCA to share stories about community health center work in North Carolina with patients, the public, the press, and elected officials, and helped health center staff and patients tell their own stories. Leslie’s background includes community organizing and nonprofit communications, policy writing, environmental justice work, teaching university-level writing and rhetoric, and technical writing and editing. She served on the board of a nonprofit focused on leadership development for low to moderate income people and for her triathlon and cycling teams.
