Kim Prendergast joined Community Care Cooperative (C3) in 2019 to lead the Accountable Care Organization’s Social Health strategy and programs.
In this role, she drives strategic initiatives addressing social drivers of health, building partnerships across the healthcare and social services sectors that benefit many of the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable. Kim brings a public policy and systems orientation to the work, while ensuring that needs of patients are at the center of all efforts. Kim has been instrumental in designing and implementing the organization’s Flexible Services partnerships and contracts, working with more than twenty community partners to provide support to directly invest in interventions that support C3 members experiencing food insecurity, housing instability, and homelessness. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness & Health from Purdue University. She later earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
