Kat has focused much of the past 15+ years of her career developing policy and programs to advance whole person care and health equity while striving to center the voices of those most impacted by the work in the work and pushing systems and sectors to work together. Currently, Kat is the Director of Health Systems Innovation team at Community Health Plan of Washington and Community Health Network of Washington. Kat has developed an expertise in Medicaid Transformation policy and programs as well as working at the intersection of health and other systems, including housing, to have them work better together. Prior to CHPW/CHNW, Kat worked at the Washington State Health Care Authority and the Oregon Primary Care Association. Beyond work life, Kat loves live music, travel and being outside.
