Jennifer Trujillo is the substance use disorder and special populations program manager at the Nevada Primary Care Association (NVPCA). Jennifer holds her master’s degree in healthcare administration. Since the Spring 2019, Jennifer has been managing the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant by providing training and technical assistance to the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to increase the number of patients who are being screened using the Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) model, increase the number of patients receiving Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) services and increasing the number of providers receiving their Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000) waiver to administer, dispense, and prescribe buprenorphine.
