Jennie McLaurin, MD, MPH, is a Senior Fellow for Public Health Integration and Innovation at NACHC. She has over 35 years of experience in health centers, serving as pediatrician and medical director as well as state and national level leadership. She has worked with migrant families, indigenous Hawaiians, special needs children and homeless adolescents. She is trained in bioethics as well as medicine, and recently authored a book, Designed to Heal, which looks at intersections of medicine, faith and community as we attempt to heal physical and social wounds. Jennie lives in Ferndale, WA; a semi-rural town of about 10,000, surrounded by raspberry and dairy farms.
