Dr. Jim Schultz is a Family Physician who serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Neighborhood Healthcare. Neighborhood is a 26-site, 110,000 patient FQHC providing primary care, dental and behavioral health services to patients in San Diego and Riverside Counties. He sees patients in the office and as a hospitalist at Palomar Medical Center. His clinical work includes full-spectrum primary care, outpatient procedures, colposcopy and outpatient gynecologic procedures, (teaching Family Medicine Residents), retinal imaging oversight, and gang member tattoo removals. Dr. Schultz serves as Consulting Medical Director for Health Center Partners and for Project Access San Diego. He is the Chair of Champions for Health, Co-Chair for the Healthy San Diego Joint Committee, and a past President of the San Diego County Medical Society. He is also Volunteer Clinical Professor, UCSD Department of Family Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Western University of Health Sciences. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine and is a recipient of the Diploma in Mountain Medicine.
