Helen Yu DrPH, MPH

Dr. Helen Yu-Lefler, DrPH, MPH is a health services researcher whose work focuses on improving healthcare access, quality, cost, and equity for special populations. She currently serves as a Health Statistician at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) where she oversees Health Center Program research strategy. Helen has also worked at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and ACCESS Community Health Network, to, respectively, improve outcomes accountability, access to care and transition into a Patient-Centered Medical Home. She has also taught graduate school courses and served as an academic advisor for doctoral-level practicums in quality improvement, accountable care, and health services research and evaluation at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Helen holds an MPH and DrPH from John Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in psychology from Princeton University.
