Gina Capra, Senior Vice President, Health Center Operations and Governance at NACHC, leads the assessment, development, delivery and evaluation of professional education and technical assistance services for the community health center workforce and governing board members. This role includes the convening and coordination of 22 national training and technical assistance partners who collectively support and advance health center operational excellence. Prior to joining NACHC, Gina was the Executive Director, Office of Rural Health, U.S. Veterans Health Administration (VHA) where she led national programming, congressional and media response, pilot-to-scale investments across VA’s rural medical facilities, mentored implementation and evaluation intended to increase access and care coordination for 3M rural Veterans. Gina spent 14 years with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), including Director. Boston Regional Office (Region 1) and then as the Eastern Division Director for the Bureau of Primary Healthcare (BPHC) responsible for Health Center Program compliance and performance improvement. Gina is a graduate of The College of New Jersey (B.A), American University (M.P.A.) and Boston University (MCH Certificate).
