Gerrard Jolly is Director of Career Advancement Strategies at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). He designs and develops leadership and workforce training programs and establishes and oversees partnerships to advance the health center workforce through education and training opportunities. He previously served as National Director of Community HealthCorps, a workforce development program advancing health equity in Community Health Centers. Before coming to NACHC in 2007, Gerrard used his experience as a national park ranger to develop community engagement, visitor experience, and volunteerism programs for the National Park Foundation and its African American Experience Fund. He holds bachelor's & master's degrees in history from Alabama State University and the University of Akron (OH), respectively, with concentrations in the African American civil war & civil rights experiences. He is certified in Mental Health First Aid and has earned Certificates in Nonprofit Management and Diversity and Inclusion, from the University of Washington and Cornell University, respectively. He is credentialed as a Certified Diversity Professional through the Institute for Diversity Certification.
