Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Senior Advisor to the Dean, A.T. Still University-SOMA, Schwartz is a graduate of New York University, ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His life work has been medical education and service to the underserved. A primary care physician, researcher, faculty developer and educator, Schwartz pioneered the use of technology to combine distance and local faculty teaching in the training of SOMA medical students and residents at community health centers across the United States.
