Dr. Faith Polkey is the Chief Executive Officer and Interim Chief Medical Officer at Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. She has practiced there for 21 years doing outpatient and inpatient Pediatrics and Public Health practice. She served as Chief of Pediatrics for 13 years and Chief Clinical Officer for 5 years, where she supervised the Ryan White and Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker program. She was instrumental in leading BJHCHS through the COVID-19 pandemic Dr. Polkey received her BS in biology from the University of South Carolina, MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed Pediatric residency training at Duke University Medical Center and a second residency in Preventive Medicine at UNC, where she served as Chief Resident. She is boarded in both Pediatrics and General Preventive Medicine and Public Health. She also serves on several committees for the National Association of Community Health Centers.
