Libby Brockman-Knight earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Ms. Brockman-Knight completed her clinical internship and rotations at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) where her interest in trauma, substance use, and integrated care first began. Currently, she is the Deputy Chief Clinical Officer for Substance Use Disorder Services for Compass Health overseeing both adolescent and adult, women and children, and co-occurring outpatient and residential substance use disorder services. A primary focus for her has been the integration of SUD services within behavioral health and medical services including the advancement of medication assisted treatment within the organization. She has been involved with the trauma informed care initiative since 2010.
