Elisa Gladstone is a Special Assistant in HRSA’s Bureau of Health Workforce where she coordinates the Bureau’s Shortage Designation Modernization Project with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement. Elisa has over 15 years of experience overseeing and implementing public health programs including HRSA’s Poison Control Program and the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Kidney Disease Education Program. Prior to joining HRSA, Elisa was the Communications Director for NIH’s National Institute of Nursing Research. Elisa received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Emory University and a master’s in public health, with a concentration in health behavior and health education, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
