Dr. Elbert Huang is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Chronic Disease Research and Policy at the University of Chicago. He is a clinical investigator with over a decade of experience studying health services and translational research questions at the intersection of aging, diabetes, and health economics. He led the economic analyses of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Disparities Collaboratives initiative of diabetes quality improvement in community health centers and was principal investigator of the Bureau of Primary Health Care Program Cost Analyses. With Dr. Marshall Chin, he currently serves as Co-Program Director of the Financial Analysis Research Agenda.
