Deputy Director, Federal Affairs, NACHC

Deila Davis is the Deputy Director of Federal Affairs at NACHC and an accomplished community health and fundraising leader. Prior to NACHC, Deila was the Director of Government Affairs at Access Community Health Network, an FQHC located in Chicago. In this role, she led their legislative and advocacy strategy at the local, state and federal levels – increasing ACCESS’ visibility among elected officials and public health stakeholders as a leading Community Health Center network. She also spearheaded individual giving, major events and corporate sponsorship campaigns at ACCESS and earlier at Providence-St. Mel School, a historically Black college prep school with a 35-year successful track record of 100% college acceptance for students of color. Deila launched her career with the Detroit City Council as a policy analyst reviewing legislative proposals and analyzing economic redevelopment projects. Deila holds an MBA (University of Notre Dame), MPP (University of Michigan) and BA (Brown University).
