Damon Taugher, Director, U.S. Programs, Direct Relief, began his career at Direct Relief in 2003 after graduating from the University of California Los Angeles, where he received degrees in Political Science and Geography. Damon founded Direct Relief’s program in the United States, supporting patients who receive care at nonprofit community health centers and other safety net providers with donations of medicine and medical supplies from more than 175 healthcare companies. Damon has since led the program, which is now the largest of its kind in the country, and is the only organization licensed and accredited to distribute prescription medicines to all 50 states.
