Courtney Riggle-van Schagen is the Director of Behavioral Health with Neighborhood Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center outside Washington, DC. She is a bilingual, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work in Clinical Mental Health from The University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University. Ms. Riggle-van Schagen is pursing a DrPH at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health where she is a Fellow in the Department of Prevention and Community Health. Her areas of interest focus on addressing health disparities in the Latino community, improving access to behavioral health and primary care for underserved communities, and examining the humanitarian and public health perspective on immigration-related deaths at the Southern border.
