Chuck Hookstra

Charles Hookstra’s commendable leadership experience was cultivated over his three-decade career in law enforcement and civil investigation. As Assistant Chief of Police with the Oxnard Police Department, he received numerous accolades including the Medal of Merit for going above and beyond the requirements of normal assignment. Today, Charles serves on the Board of Directors for Clinicas del Camino Real, Incorporated, the Oxnard Police Activities League and the Martin Luther King Committee of Ventura County where he offers both his work experience and his deep understanding of the Southern and Central California regions. With each organization, he ensures that they fulfill their mission always for the betterment of Ventura County.
