Brenda Rodriguez

Emergency Management Coordinator, CCALAC

Brenda Rodriguez is the Emergency Management Coordinator for the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County (CCALAC). In her role, Brenda leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of CCALAC’s emergency preparedness activities by providing technical support and assistance, and facilitation of plan development for Health Centers in Business Continuity, Emergency Operations, and Hazard-specific response plans. She facilitates, develops and coordinates training including Introduction to the Incident Command System, Basic Infection Control, Exercise Design and Facilitation, Incident Action Planning, N95 Fit Testing, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. During her tenure, she managed emergency shelter operations for the Creek, Rye, Skirball, and Sand fires and concurrently worked the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for the American Red Cross and City of Los Angeles. Rodriguez also worked alongside important stakeholders for partnership in emergency preparedness for the cities of Culver City and Los Angeles.
